EnVision Services
Resident Support Program
Department of Communities Disability Services funded, this is an initiative which provides personal care and community-access support to improve the lives of people with a disability who are living in boarding houses and hostels.
Project 300
Department of Communities Disability Services funded, this program provides individualised support to people with mental illness and psychiatric disability to move from long-stay psychiatric institutions into the community of their choice. Supports are delivered in the person’s own home and include living skills, personal care, community access and social supports.
Adult Lifestyle Support
Department of Communities Disability Services funded, this program provides individualised support to people with a psychiatric or dual psychiatric and intellectual disability to achieve a personally and socially valued quality of life. Supports are delivered in the person’s own home and include living skills, personal care, community-access and social supports.
Yallawah House - Holiday House
Funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, this service provides respite for people with a mental illness (referral from government agencies, other agencies or self referrals from carers or recipients).
Brokerage Programs
enVision works in partnership with a range of other third sector services to provide specialist support to people affected by mental illness and dual disability. This support includes family support, individual support and respite. Early Intervention Program
Funded by Department of Communities Disability Services, this program is a one-off non recurrent grant to assist young adults with a mental illness that are falling through the gaps of existing services.
These funds will be used to provide individual support up to six months to assist people to access resources in the community.
Synergy – Child and Family Mental Health Program
Funded by Department of Communities Disability Services, Synergy aims to provide support to families when one or both parents are affected by mental illness. The program operates on a family resourcing model, assisting the family to develop the skills, support networks and resources to meet the needs of all members
MOSAIC
Funded by Department of Communities Disability Services, MOSAIC is a transitional recovery model which is a 3 stage approach for people living with a mental illness; from discharge to community.
Sharing the Journey Program
Commonwealth-funded, this is an initiative which provides day and overnight respite and moving ahead options for people with a mental illness.
Early Response Model Funded by Queensland Health, this program assists people to transition out of the Princess Alexandra (PA) hospital and supports them in securing housing/employment and preventing readmission to hospital.
Social, Recreational and Peer Support Programs
enVision offers a range of social, recreational and peer support programs including:
Surf Group
The surf group is a joint initiative with the Surfing Information Centre and Northcliffe Surf Lifesaving Club. This program operates weekly and offers the opportunity for participants affected by mental illness and their allies to learn surfing skills, access peer support and local community activities.
Music Group
The music group enables a small group of musicians affected by mental illness to practise their skills each week; reducing social isolation and providing peer support. The program operates at a sound studio with the assistance of local musicians.
Men’s Lawn Bowls, Women’s Group and Craft Group
The men’s lawn bowls, women’s group and craft group are funded by participants’ individual support packages.
