Brisbane South Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre
Funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, the CR&CC Respite and Information Service provides assistance to people in the community wishing to access information, respite, and/or assistance to access community services.  The respite service offers carers of people with a disability; people with mental illness; or people who are frail with age and/or have dementia, assistance to access short-term respite in their home or community including at an overnight respite cottage or aged care facility.  Assistance can also be provided to meet the associated costs of these services.
 
Brisbane South Carebus
Funded through the Dept of Health and Ageing, the Commonwealth Carer Respite and Carelink South Brisbane Carebus is a mobile resource unit, which can be booked at no cost, for information displays at community events and venues, such as: carer support groups, community centres, church fetes, conventions, open days, hospitals, libraries, Special Education Units, community organisations.
 
Young Carers Project (YCP)
Funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), YCP assists young people who are up to age 25, and are at risk of early exit from primary or secondary education due to the care and support they provide for a parent, partner, child, relative or friend with a disability, a mental illness, physical condition, alcohol or drug dependency, or who is frail with age. Assistance can include individualised and/or group activity respite options. 
 
Mental Health Respite Program (MHRP)
Funded through the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), this program offers assistance to carers of people with severe mental illness/psychiatric disability, and carers of people with autism or intellectual disabilities, with access to a wide range of flexible and holistic respite options.
 
Respite Support for Carers of Young People with a Severe of Profound Disability
Funded through Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), this project works alongside CRCC South Brisbane and Carers of young people with severe or profound disability to plan and coordinate flexible responses to their respite needs.
                                                                
Positive Futures Project – South Brisbane
Funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, the Positive Futures Project, aims to assist aged carers of their adult son or daughter with disabilities and their families, to plan for the future.  A specially trained worker, known as a family facilitator, joins with the family and assists them to articulate their dream for the future, determine goals and create actions which will help the family move towards these goals.
 
Indig-n-arts Project
Funded through the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), Mental Health Respite Program and coordinated by FSG Australia’s Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre (CR&CC) South Brisbane, this project is an exciting new initiative which has commenced in partnership with Indigenous artist John Pene-Fonmosa and Yului-Burri-Ba Aboriginal Corporation, to address the need for culturally appropriate respite options on North Stradbroke Island. 
 
Dementia training and support project
This project provides support and training for carers caring for someone with dementia.

EMPLOYED CARERS PROJECT - WEST MORETON
Funded by the Department of Health & Ageing, the project provides flexible respite utilising a host family or in-home model to provide assistance to employed carers of people over the age of 65 years living in the rural or hinterland areas of the region.  The host family worker provides support for up to two care recipients whilst their carer attends their paid employment. 
 
EMPLOYED CARERS PROJECT - SOUTH BRISBANE
Funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, this service provides a flexible respite package to carers of people over the age of 65 years living in the Brisbane South region to assist them to continue or enter the workforce. 
 
YO!BEAU & YBYC
Yo!Beau is funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, this provides social and recreational activities and respite for school age children with a disability and their families living in the Beaudesert region.  YBYC is FSGA funded and is a project that provides young people with a disability who are aged 14 years of age and over with opportunities to meet socially with their peers, and together attend community events or participate in activities based on their individual and the group's interests, skills and abilities.
 
BLUEGUMS
Funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, Bluegums is located in Waterford and provides a range of activity options to people with a disability and their parents/carers.  Options include in-home; day; evening; after-school; friendship club; overnight stays in a home-like environment; and parent/carer groups.  Strong emphasis is placed on resourcing families through information, education, respite and linking with their community. 
 
POSITIVE FUTURES PROJECT
Funded by the Department of Health & Ageing, a care management approach is used to assist parents over the age of 65 years who care for their adult son or daughter with a disability at home.  Families are assisted to review and access services that meet their current needs, as well as consider and plan their future goals. 
 
YALLARWAH HOUSE
Funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, this service provides respite for people with a mental illness (referral from government agencies, other agencies or self referrals from carers or recipients). 
 
FSGA HOLIDAY HOMES 
Funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, FSGA holiday homes offer carers of people with a mental illness, dual diagnosis, intellectual disability including autism, an opportunity to access planned and unplanned community overnight respite options in a home-like environment.
